About Us

Team Ajax consists of 4 students from Olin College of Engineering and Babson College enrolled in the Human Factors & Interface Design course at Olin. In this class, students explore the design and development of user interfaces. Team Ajax is looking to make the cross-registration experience more accessible and appealing for students in the tri-school consortium of: Olin College, Babson College, and Wellesley College.

Our goal is to make the cross-registration process, easier for students by presenting them with the relevant information (class offerings, degree requirements, inter-school shuttles) in a transparent, effective, and attractive way. The idea is to encourage students to cross-register, by showing them that it is not as hard or tedious as they think. In order to promote more cross-registration, we need show that it is a favorable option. We aim to design an interface to that achieves this goal.

The first part of our Final Refinement deliverable, our Refinement Summary, is online. The second iteration of our high fidelity prototype is also online now.

We finished the design refinement! See the progress we've made, internal and external evaluations of our prototype, and the presentation we gave in class on November 10th. It's all live here!

Our initial digital prototype is complete and is is ready for heuristic evaluation.
If you are a heuristic evaluator, please visit the Design Refinement page for further instructions in order to evaluate it.
Here is also a direct like to the prototype. Enjoy and tell us what you think!

Our digital prototype is looking good! It's definitely not publishable yet (it doesn't even live on the internet!), but the whole team is excited about the direction we're headed. We didn't expect to be as far as we actually are.

Our complete design development assignment is now here. For a person-by-person work breakdown, see here.
