Team Process
Our team process was very much group oriented. We first discussed the information that we wanted to gain from the interviews, then wrote up a detailed internal interview protocol to try to gain this information. During the interviews, we all took notes and alternated asking questions. We then de-briefed after each interview to assimilate our thoughts and observations from the interview. After 6 interviews, we sat down as a team and sketched out three personas (to represent the three different user types we observed in the interviews), their goals, and their tasks. We then divided up formally writing the persosnas (one for each team member), and each team member created a conceptual model for his persona. We then reconvened, created a glossary of terms for the lexicon, and divided the definitions in half (between DJ and Steven), leaving Michael to design the webpage. Finally, we came back together for final synthesis of information and completion of the remainder of the assignment.
