Ophelia got up at 8:15 this morning because her alarm didn't go off at 7 and has been running late ever since. She arrived at the Campus Office at 9:05AM and worked until lunchtime. After that, she went to her history class and then her math class where she had a pop quiz. It's now 4PM and she knows she has meetings and other events scheduled through 11PM tonight. She manages to make it back to her dorm for a few minutes and sits down at her computer.
It's Friday afternoon after a long week of work and Ophelia wants to hang out with her friends. Unfortunately she has been so busy she hasn't had a chance to catch up with them. She would like to use the system to determine when her friends are free.
When Pete returns to school he finds out that his IT department has just installed Velveeta's new calendaring system. He did not like the previous calendaring solution but his friends manage to convince him to give this new system a chance. So Pete sits down with an open mind and logs into the system for the first time.
Pete's discrete math team has some group homework that they need to get finished. It is due tomorrow so time is in short supply. Normally they would talk to Pete directly as they know he doesn't like to use computers, however there isn't anytime for that. Pete's group needs to schedule a two hour block of time with him so that they can finish.
Pete is watching the clock in History 204 when his professor begins listing off assignments due next week. Since Pete is not an avid user of his laptop he neglects to copy down the new assignments on his laptop. However there are several students in the class who use their laptops to take notes and copy the tasks down into the Team Velveeta Calendaring system.
